The next time you reach for your handbag to take out your wallet or something else, maybe it would not hurt to know that you can “attach” a disease, potentially lethal, experts warn.
All of that was found at the bottom of the women’s handbags.
Study has shown that the women’s purses contain bacteria that can poison people through food and it can be very dangerous, primarily the aforementioned Escherichia coli and fecal streptococci, which can cause inflammation and bacterial meningitis.
The survey also discovered some habits of the owners of the bags and found that 33% of women never clean their bags. The majority of respondents also stated that sometimes they wear dirty underwear.
Also, 20% of respondents would take a chewing gum that is somewhere at the bottom of their bag, after cleaning it from hair and dirt, according to the survey commissioned by “Mentos Gum”.
